This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights. It is written to comply with Québec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.
What we collect
Your first name, date of birth, city, interests, outing budget, dietary restrictions, relationship with alcohol, weekly availability, email address, and your devices' notification tokens. We also keep your answers to proposals and your ratings after an outing.
Why we collect it
Only to propose activities that suit you, and to measure whether the service works. We sell nothing, we run no targeted advertising, and we pass your data to no one for commercial purposes.
Where your data lives
In Google Firestore, region northamerica-northeast1, located in Canada. Your data does not leave the country for storage.
Who else has access
Google Firebase (hosting and authentication), Expo's notification service (delivering proposals to your devices), and Google Places (public information about the venues proposed). These providers act on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Closing your account blocks your access and stops the proposals, but erases nothing: your profile, your answers and anything you wrote stay on record, and your partner keeps the history of the outings you shared. We also keep a technical log of the notifications sent. To have your data erased, write to us.
Your rights
You may access your data, correct it, obtain a copy, have it erased, and withdraw your consent at any time. Closing your account is done in the app. For a copy of your data or its erasure, write to us: those requests are handled by hand, and there is no button in the app that replaces them. We answer as quickly as we can.
